1Lifedirect Cover
Term Insurance – a type of life insurance which limits cover to a specific period, which can either be very short or very long.
Whole of life – a life insurance benefit which provides cover throughout the entire lifetime of the life assured.
Pure Life cover – this cover pays out a lump sum in the event of the death of the life assured. You have the option between two types of cover, namely:
- 1Life Basic cover – will pay out, to a beneficiary of your choice, a cash amount up to R200 000 in the event of your death
- 1Life Elevated cover - will pay out, to a beneficiary of your choice, a cash amount from R200 000 upwards in the event of your death
Additional Products – there are additional benefits available from 1Lifedirect:
- 1Life Disablement – offers you a choice between cover for disablement which leaves you unfit to work at your own or suited occupation or cover for events that result in a form of disability. You therefore have a choice between Occupation-based Disablement cover or Event-based Disablement cover.
- 1Life Dread Disease – offers you a payout for dread diseases, such as cancer, certain cardiovascular diseases, having a stroke, diseases of the nervous system, to name but a few.
- Credit Life – this pays off outstanding amounts on specified credit agreements. It will, in the event of your death, pay out the outstanding capital on a short or long term debt, such as on a car or home, to your loan provider if you have kept up the installments.
